Ezekiel Films

This past monday I found an App on my Ipod touch. I’ve never looked at apps since I thought it was going to be a bunch games and other things I don’t want to get hooked on. This app is actually good for me. Its a daily calorie counter and exercise as well. I logged in a few things and had no idea how many calories something really is. I know its nothing new but this a whole new concept to me because ive never done it before. The app makes it easy to track everything I eat and all my work outs. So this Year for my birthday I decided to get myself healthier.

I was lucky enough to get an early Christmas present, my Canon DSLR. In the past month I have taken more pictures with it than I have with any other cameras combined. I was recently asked to film a project for someone so they can turn in the footage for school. While getting the camera ready to film, shoot video, I noticed something. There was a red spot in the frame. I cleaned the screen, the lens, and put it all back together. The spot was still there. I was starting to get angry, certain words were starting to be used.. I decided to get on the computer and look back on the rest of the pictures. Now that I was aware of this red spot, I saw it everywhere. It was in the same part of the picture all the way to the very first pics I was taking. I was ready to fight someone! I haven’t been in a fight since eighth grade but I was ready to brake someones nose. After a few drinks of orange juice, Canon was called. Here’s the good news. My girlfriend called because I tend to stutter when I’m on the phone. Not that this has anything to do with the camera. Anyway, as soon as she says red dot we here “Burnt Pixel.” Or a cluster of burnt pixels. We have to send it in for repairs with new parts. Sweet they are going to fix it for free right? Well, it shouldn’t have had any problems from the start but it happens. Not only that its not free because we have to ship it.

Next is the over priced car repairs. I’m going to keep this one short I don’t want to sound like a complainer. So the car starts to over heat. What’s next? Take it to a repair shop.. We just happen to take it to Break Masters. And we didn’t get an honest Break! We ended up paying over five hundred dollars for something that only take forty five minutes to do. I worked on cars before I know. I’m clumsy as well so go figure. The part itself was three hundred, but everywhere else the part is topped at one sixty. We hear about automotive crooks all the time. So making a big scene was not a good option. I would advise not to go there because the are proven liars but waste you money as you wish. Here’s the okay news. The corporate office was called and thanks to my Tio Robert we were saved from wasting a good day being frustrated. We called and explained what had happened. The manager of Tucson was then phoned and he called me directly. A refund of one hundred dollars will be sent by mail in the next few days. Sigh.. But that does not make any of it right. So much hassle just to make some extra money ended up catching them in a lie. The refund is appreciated but trying to screw us over ended our oil changing relationship with Break Masters. That’s just half of what’s been going on this weekend. I’m going to take something for my headache and watch the rest of Broke Back Mountain.. Over and out..

So yesterday I watched a new movie. It was directed by a guy that I was told by the Media was a bad guy. He should stop making movies and get a real job. Because I trust the news, I listened. I’m like most people that don’t have more than a thousand dollars in there bank account. I worry about how much my next check is going to be. I think about how I don’t even have a couch to sit on. I think about the many problems my family is having, everyone has disputes but my family put the gloves on.  I also watch movies and TV because they take me away from being broke. I’m not gonna lie I’m one of the many broke asses in the U.S.  So with all this stuff going on I don’t have time for politics and with the way I grew up I didn’t even care about them. Now that I’m older and know Republicans are out to kill the poor people I started to listen. I watched Capitalism: a love story directed by Micheal Moore. I’m not sure everything is one hundred percent fact but it sure as hell looks like it to me. To be honest I don’t care if it is or isn’t because it would help us all out if everyone watched this movie. Everyone knows the rich get richer and the poor gets poorer. No sugar coating with me, its a fact, its out there. My problem is not lack of intelligence but the lack of knowledge. I can figure things out pretty fast but I never knew about the little things in politics. They say things so you don’t understand and they put fear in everyone to get you on their side. Geese I really hate politics. Why is it that its okay for the banks to rob us but its illegal to rob a bank?? I don’t know I’m just a guy who needs to know more. A movie like Capitalism is great because its informative and the director points the finger at the greedy. It also raises your blood pressure so beware and BE aware. The greedy fend for themselves while attacking the poor and the poor just want to be left alone.  Knowledge is power.

Just kidding I knew what the internet was years ago. I just recently moved out into my own apartment and got the internet. I thought I could make a blog and a you tube channel and everyone would know I was alive.  I have never been more in the dark about anything. I’ve seen people who have been on the internet for the past five or six years. I am that far behind. I recently made a you tube channel and cant even get my videos up. I feel I was left in the year two thousand and trying to catch up. I get a few comments every now and then and cant help but get excited like the first time I went to Disneyland. At first I did not want to get the internet because I didn’t and still barely know what I’m doing. Now I’m getting a little more comfortable with it. The thing is I still feel the internet and new technology is making everything accelerate into the future.  Why is everything about keeping our eyes on a screen alone in our homes. I like the outdoors, sometimes I get off the computer and the day has passed already. Before I make it sound horrible, which its not, I can say it is very useful. You can learn so much without having to leave your house. Ive learned some history, how-to stuff, and read about Lady Gaga. No comment about her though. So what I’ve been trying to do is reach out to people and show off my talent as a filmmaker. Little did I know, everyone on the internet is a filmmaker or photographer and writer. I have a lot of catching up to do but will continue to write, and try to get my videos up as well as make more.
